Description

Adds Cortecs as a named OpenAI-compatible provider in LiteLLM.

Changes

  • litellm/llms/openai_like/providers.json: Added cortecs entry with base URL (https://api.cortecs.ai/v1) and API key env var
  • provider_endpoints_support.json: Added cortecs provider with supported endpoints (chat_completions)
  • litellm/provider_endpoints_support_backup.json: Same as above

Usage

from litellm import completion

response = completion(
    model="cortecs/<model-name>",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Hello!"}]
)

About Cortecs

  • 150+ models
  • Popular in Europe (GDPR-native)
  • Often combined with LiteLLM's BYOK

Greptile Summary

This PR adds Cortecs AI as a named OpenAI-compatible provider by updating three JSON configuration files: providers.json (base URL + API key env var), and both the primary and backup provider_endpoints_support.json files (endpoint capability flags). The implementation follows the established minimal-provider pattern and looks correct. The only thing to address before merging is that the url field in the endpoint support files points to a docs page (https://docs.litellm.ai/docs/providers/cortecs) that doesn't exist yet — a docs file should be added alongside this change.

Confidence Score: 4/5

Safe to merge after adding the missing Cortecs documentation page

Only P2 findings — a missing docs page referenced by the url field. All JSON changes follow established patterns and are correctly formatted.

provider_endpoints_support.json and litellm/provider_endpoints_support_backup.json reference a docs URL that doesn't exist yet

Important Files Changed

Filename Overview
litellm/llms/openai_like/providers.json Adds cortecs entry with base URL and API key env var; format consistent with other minimal providers (helicone, scaleway, etc.)
provider_endpoints_support.json Adds cortecs provider with chat_completions support; the url field references docs that don't yet exist in this PR
litellm/provider_endpoints_support_backup.json Mirror of provider_endpoints_support.json changes; same docs URL concern applies

P2 Missing documentation page

The url field references https://docs.litellm.ai/docs/providers/cortecs, but no corresponding docs page is included in this PR. Checking comparable provider additions (aihubmix, scaleway), a dedicated docs page at docs/my-website/docs/providers/cortecs.md is typically expected. Without it, the link in the provider endpoint table will be a 404.

- Add cortecs config to providers.json (base_url + api_key_env)
- Add cortecs to provider_endpoints_support.json (chat_completions only)

Follows the minimal JSON-configured provider pattern. The JSON
provider registry automatically handles routing without needing
manual entries in constants.py or types/utils.py.
